Artist statement Aspects of colour, light, movement, time, ordering and sequencing are all features of my work. I am concerned with visually presenting movement and rhythm within the static, using repetition of simple shapes and the interaction of colour to achieve this. I enjoy the paradox of visually perceived movement in static reality. Progression and order within the format of grids and sequences are all important to me. I work in a variety of media producing work that can be two or three dimensional, often using site-specific found objects as catalysts for my pieces.
